Numbxiller and For3on Collab on Street Political Single ‘Tunis’

Tunisian artist Numbxiller and Mansoura-based producer For3on team up on ‘Tunis’, a street-level rap cut that sketches out a city defined by frustration, survival, and a certain learned indifference. The track works through cynicism and deadpan observation, capturing the feeling of being stuck inside a system that barely registers your complaints.

Delivered mostly in heavy Tunisian dialect with flashes of English, the lyrics move through bureaucratic friction, corruption, economic pressure, and everyday disillusionment. Even the airport becomes part of the story, with the struggle beginning almost as soon as you land. The recurring sense of simply having to survive, live or die, keep moving, keep working, gives the track its bleak center.

References to SACEM (Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique) turn that frustration toward the music industry, taking aim at hollow ideas of success where royalty checks and industry posturing can look impressive on paper while the reality outside remains unchanged. The track sits firmly in conscious rap, with deliberately understated production that leaves plenty of space for the rappers’ nonchalant delivery over a mellow trap production.

The video, filmed around Zaghouan and directed by Bvch, plays out across two extended setups. In the first, Numbxiller stands almost dead-center, delivering the track while everyday street life carries on around him. The mundane details of the setting give the video its raw character, saying more than a polished backdrop ever could.

Then a Mercedes pulls into frame and the perspective switches to a dashcam-style ride through the streets. The shift moves the viewer from standing inside the mess to cruising through it, detached but still surrounded by the same environment the track describes.
