Dish Dash take a Guinness record with a 61-DJ relay

Set in Jeddah alongside LUCID, and the sort of record that says something about how large the Saudi scene has quietly become.

Saudi artist duo Dish Dash have set a new Guinness World Record for the “Most People in an Online DJ Mixing Video Relay.”

The most people in an online DJ mixing video relay is 61, achieved by DISH DASH and LUCID (both Saudi Arabia) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 28 January 2026. The record-breaking relay brought together 61 DJs from across Saudi Arabia, performing remotely in a continuous eight-hour set that celebrated the Kingdom’s electronic music scene. Each DJ performed for eight minutes before seamlessly handing over to the next participant, resulting in a relay that lasted just over eight hours.

The attempt was made to celebrate regional DJ culture, digital connectivity, and collaboration by bringing together DJs from across the region in a single continuous relay, executed to the highest technical and compliance standards. The record aligns closely with the record holders’ vision of pushing creative and technical boundaries in music and digital performance, while showcasing Saudi Arabia and Jeddah in particular as a hub for innovative, world-class cultural initiatives.

The entire relay was powered by the battery of a Lucid Gravity electric SUV. Through a collaboration with Lucid Motors Saudi Arabia, the vehicle supplied uninterrupted power throughout the eight-hour broadcast, underscoring the project’s sustainability ambitions without detracting from its central focus: the music and the people behind it.
