The third single from a feature-heavy debut, and the Sudanese MC gets the room to himself.
Following the previous two releases, ‘Baby Shark’ and ‘Meen Same3na’ featuring Ziad Zaza and Zad, Cairo-based producer Omar Keif rolls out his third track, ‘Rozma,’ featuring Haleem Taj Alser, ahead of his debut album.
The feature-heavy album’s third single spotlights acclaimed Sudanese MC Haleem Taj Alser and channels the intensity of a high-stakes action film, weaving drama into its lyrical themes with direct references to John Wick. Keif’s production amplifies this cinematic feel through synthesized string sections and his signature dark trap style, packed with hard-hitting, speaker-rattling 808s.
Keif leans into a consistent synth palette, particularly a heavy 808-driven sound that ties the tracks together. This cohesion extends to the music videos, each directed by Omar Donga, which share a recurring motif centered around the exchange of a valuable musical record, portrayed as an object of high worth, whether stolen, gifted, or bought at a steep price.
Together, the videos form an unfolding side narrative: in ‘Baby Shark’, Keif is seen running toward an unknown destination; in ‘Meen Same3na’, he appears in an underground setting, suggesting the aftermath of his escape and the beginning of a plan involving the record; by the third, in ‘Rozma’, he continues to maneuver the record, hinting at a larger scheme with a yet-to-be-revealed recipient, a.k.a. more featuring artists.
